Dog eat $500 real money

A USA man (Wayne) left his dog alone in a car with $500 cash. The dog (Sundance) ate five one hundred dollar notes. Seen by Sundance the money was aten because Sundance decided it was his dinner time. Wayne has taped the notes up and sent them to the USA Treasury Dept. to replace them hes been told the process could take two years to replace the $500.

Minibus rolls on SH29

A minibus travelling down SH29 had a crash. Police and emergency services arrived at the scene around 4pm. Their were 20 people in the minibus including two kids. The two kids are getting picked up by a helicopter for precaution. Another vehicle is on its way to pick the minibuses passengers.

My Question is where they drunk or was it no concentration.

Tauranga the most googled city

Tauranga is now one of the most googled city's in New Zealand along side of Auckland City, Nelson, Queenstown and Wellington. The winner of the google awards will be pronounced in Wellington in may later this year. Mayor Stuart Crosby says that he is delighted about the city's achievement. Googles e-town awards have been previously held in Europe, Australia and Canada.

My Opinion: The is a great achievement for our city and I think that we will have a big boost in our town because it will be a tourist attraction.

Severe Heavy Rain Warning Across North Island

A severe weather & heavy rain warning has been put in place across the Western Bay Of Plenty. Strong winds and rain are expected to hit over the next three days. Its expected to slowly reach the Coromandel Peninsula and Auckland in the afternoon. It will start on Monday morning and slowly easing onto tuesday may carry on to Wednesday. 120-150mm rain fall is expected between 9pm Monday night to 3am Wednesday.

10-15mm is expected to fall every hour Tuesday morning. There is a low over the Bay Of Plenty ranges. North west of the south island is going to be hit by the bad weather.

My Opinion: Thats going to be great for all the dry weather we have had lately.

People abandon flaming car

Three people on Saturday night 100m from the Bay-park Speedway abandoned a car on the side of the road at  about 11pm that night. Flames started flying from the dashboard. Lindsay said that the occupants of the car could smell smoke before they could see any of the flames. " Cars can develop flames quickly. The fire is believed to be caused by an electrical fault.

My Opinion: I am wondering if they are the people who called the fire brigade and how did this happen as supposed to an electrical fault.

Leadership speech

Excellence in the Arts.

Present a speech in front of house hui.

At the start of term 1, we were given the opportunity to write a speech and present it in front of the rimu house hui explaining why I wanted to be house leader. I spent hours writing down ideas and crossing some out but out of all that I created a fantastic speech to read in front of my fellow students.
Sadly I didn't get the role but it was worth the try. I don't know how well I had done but I hope it wasn't to bad.

Below is my speech for you to read:

Hello students and teachers, my name is Aimee and I am here to talk to you about becoming your house leader, you see I would be a good leader for the following reasons. I treat others equally rather than individually. I follow the stars which means........ I will always make sure others and myself are safe, I work as a team making sure everyone is included in the working, I help people achieve there goals at a high standard, and I respect others and their belongings. Finally “S” for sense of humour which I am known for.

For me leadership also means to be proactive and take responsibility and prioritising and do the most important things first, it also means having a everyone can win attitude.

As a leader I will provide service and you can always have faith in me . I am enthusiastic and thoughtful. I do the best I can in all areas of my schooling.

Just like red ants I work as a team and form a team by bringing people or ants together. Ants trouts one another and are open to share their ideas to find out what they are looking for. I will bring help and make a task our project not mine. I will present ideas if the present one is not working. So please let me have the opportunity for being a leader of the rimu red ant colony. Homework Expectations

Amount

We think that 30-45 minutes every weeknight is a reasonable expectation for homework. Per week that equals approximately 2.5 hours per week of homework.

2 terms = 20 weeks. Every homework task should take you 5 hours to do.

Quality

You need to work on each homework task for at least 2.5 to 5 hours. It should like it was done by a year 8 student. The product you make (if relevant) should look good quality.

Big Day out to rock Auckland out

Big Day Out is to rock Auckland next January.The plan for the promoter Campbell Smith has announced the venue is going to be at Western Springs. The Auckland stop on the events Australasian circuit was cancelled after last years event. A big part of that new vision will be the festivals move from Mt Smart Stadium.
My Opion is why did they move the Big Day Out and what happened last year. It sound really fun but not a type of place that I would want to be.

Tom Cruise 'didn't except' Katie Holmes divorce

The Rock of Ages  Star Tom Cruise admitted that he "didn't expect" Katie Holmes to file in on divorce. last June.

Tom shares a six year old daughter Suri with his 34 year old ex wife. He found it a shocking experience after 6 years together. Fifty year old Tom Cruise said to German TV Network ProSieben " I didn't expect it. Now his six year old daughter is in hands of Katie and he has recently taken his daughter to disneyland.

Opinion: I think this is very strange and no one should go though the terrible feeling of divorce.

Bus stopped on Hewlett's road

Around 7:50am this morning a bus had suddenly stopped out side Z energy on Hewlett's Road. One person has been treated by the St. John Ambulance. Police and the St. John Ambulance are at the scene.
Opinion: My opinion is why did it stop so quick and why does a person need to be treated.

G2. Give to your family: Prepare 3 formal three course meals, including the
menu, cooking and presenting, photographs of the meal and feedback from

I prepared a 3 course meal for my family.This is the first of my three meals that I need to prepare. I wasn't as prepared as much as I should have been because I changed my dessert at the last minute and I had to buy some ingredients that I thought I had.
I named it as the red rose restaurant and this is my menu for it:

I found a template online and I typed my menu out. On my menu I have Crispy Garlic Bread as my entree, as my main I had a burger and for dessert we had a devine white chocolate mousse.
