Daily Blog Post; Who celebrates Christmas?

Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, Buddhists and some Christians don't celebrate Christmas sad right I know but the reason they don't is that they don't believe in the faith of Christmas. The reason they don't is because it doesn't say in the bible that Jesus was born on the 25th of December. He didn't even celebrate his own birthday.

Some people don't celebrate Christmas because they don't have enough money, but thats for every religion to decide. Instead of Christmas they celebrate other holidays. Some of them which are like Christmas.

Jews don't celebrate anything to do with Christmas at all they haven't even made a holiday instead of it. Weird I know, buts thats just what they believe and thats fine.

Daily Blog Post; Third World Countrie

Third world countries are basically the one who are living in poverty. They are the ones like Mali, Asia and Africa. The one that I am going to talk to you about is Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a country full of wars. Most days there is something on the news about Afghanistan, at the moment the wars are affecting the world. Many people for many different countries have died and that is a serious issue. I mean they're not even fighting for their own country. The estimated population is 31, 108, 077 but I think it is a lot worse than that. It is a third world country because of the low economics and the high birth rates.

Daily Blog Post; Kyoto, Japan

Kyoto, Japan is a very busy place with a population of 1.474 million people set in 2010. Kyoto is the imperial capital of Japan. However Tokyo is the main capital of the island with the population of 6 million!! For a small island Japan is definitely a squished country. For the past week we have had a Japanese student with us his name in Masanao.

45 Minutes Inquiry; ....a rose by any other name....

….a rose by any other name….

This quote comes from a very old play called Romeo & Juliet. The person who says this quote is Juliet however this isn't the full quote the full quote is “O! Be some other name: What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. This means what matters is what something is not what it is called. She said it because her father doesn't like that Romeo is a Montage and she is saying who cares if he is called a Montage it is just a name.

The play was written in the 1600s by a great man called William Shakespeare. He wrote it for Juliet to say. It is a very common saying as it is a very famous play.

Daily Blog Post; Write a letter to santa

Dear Santa

I am writing to you to say what a wonderful person you are. You are really good at your job, I mean 2 billion people or children in one night!! That is amazing seriously I mean I can't even see 1 million children in a day. It must be seriously cold where you live I mean you're in the North pole its like the coldest place on earth, but I supposed eating Mrs Claus's cooking and sitting in front of the fire warms you up. It must be so cool having those super powers I mean going under doors.

What I really want for Christmas is an iPad. The reason I want it is because my sister in the laptop class next year and she'll be using this one and I won't have anything to work on and an iPad would be perfect its the right size and everything. I would also like to get a new duvet I'm kind of growing out of the one I have I don't want one with animals on it, because they make me feel childish. I know I already have a pair I would like some new converse low tops because I'm getting a bit tired of my high tops I found some that I really like that have a flower print on them. Santa, I would also like a book called finish this book. Its a great book where you have to finish everything that isn't complete. It would give me some challenges that would be fun to complete.

I think that I am willing and helpful enough to get these things. I mean I help my mum all the time and I always help around the house. The only reason I wouldn’t get these things as I don’t pick up after myself around the house. I mean I just forget and do something else and it does take heaps effort.

Anyway I just wanted to let you know how awesome you are and what I would like for Christmas, Merry Christmas.

I'm numbered as 136, I could be paper now but i'm waiting I think i'm next. Its a terrible feeling. Different pieces of me in different bags all over the world. My ship is still on the harbour it usually stays for three days but for some reason its staying longer.

45 Minute Inquiry

Curling
Curling is a worldwide sport played in many countries. To play curling you need brooms not just ordinary brooms but brooms that are specially made for this sport they are used to reduce the friction and clear any little lumps of ice out of the way, you also need a rock. A rock is like a big puck that weighs in between 17-20 kgs. Stones cost $600 - 700 which is a lot of money the brooms aren't allowed to touch the rock at all or you are out and it is the same if your rock touches the side of the rink you are also out. You also need special shoes that stop you from slipping on the ice. This is all played on one massive oblong ice rink.

To get points you need to get your rock to the middle of the house the house is the points board. The closer you get to the middle the more points you get. Just like darts.

Curling originated in th 15th century in scotland. In 1897 people used to play this game in winter on a frozen lake. They used actual brooms.

Daily Blog Post; Review a book, a movie or game

A review should include:

  • Title/Name/Author/Director/Producer/Background info
  • Main Character
  • Your opinion/judgement
  • Who is the audience demographic

Despicable Me 2

Have you ever seen Despicable Me 2? Well it is a great family movie for all you. Its an adventure/comedy/family movie filled with laughs and tears. Agness has just turned 3 and she's having a party. Gru her dad gets taken away by the AVL (Anti Villain League) This leads to nothing but trouble.

Despicable Me 2 is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud. This is the first movie they have worked on together. The producers of this movie are Christopher Meledandri and Janet Healy. The movie was released in cinemas earlier this year but has recently been put out in stores. It runs for 98 minutes which is the average time for a movie these days.

My opinion for this movie is that it is great for every age I took my grandma to it and she loved it. I find that it is great for a laugh or even just a movie night. Anyway it is an awesome PG movie and I would personally rate it 5 stars.

Daily Blog Post; Dystopian Picture Senses

As I drove down the dark highway and in the distance I see factories this reminds me of the movies I have seen. I can smell the smoke through the fan of the air conditioner. Cars and cars line up in front of me making the wait forever. Everyone has stopped at the sight of the nuclear bombs going off like a million mouse traps. You can hear them in the distance they sound like someone has dropped a big metal ball.

I can feel the smoke as thick as tar filling up in my car. It feels like something is surrounding me but I know its not. I can see the brake lights lighting up ahead I look behind me and see more cars. All I can hear is the screaming and yelling and horns tooting. I'm tempted to toot mine but I think I better not. I know that a war is about to begin.

There was a bit of silence and then Miss C spoke and said, "Well I think your behavior has been very good and I would like to acknowledge your efforts."
"Thank You!" I said happily

"Yes, Mrs Mills," We said in unison.

The 12 hour relay disaster

Mrs Mill's jaw gaped open and her eyes rolled skyward. Fighting jets covered the sky towering down over the students that were running. They stopped for a while then we heard "FIRE," bullets came down on us like flies that were fit by fly spray. We were toast "RUN!!" ordered the teachers none of us knew what was happening or where we were running to. Adrenalin kicked in I didn't want to die at this age. I ran as far away as I could went through the bamboo out to the reserve through Merrivale and up to Greeton it was a very very long run. As I was running I heard the sirens screaming past. There was no explanation for this to happen I mean everyone was fine until then. One thing that did happen though is we won have won heaps of aims games and Otumoetai wasn't to happy about that but i'm sure that the fighter jets weren't necessary but they went OTT. This was not on the army was practicing their salutes near by i'm sure they will have a tank or something. I ran over as fast as I could I explained the situation and they said sure they would help we went back to their base and got the tank it was a war between intermediates. When we arrived it was empty absolutely nothing.

A letter to Mr Diver explaining one change you would recommend at TIS.

Wednesday 30th October

Dear Mr Diver

Your school is an amazing home to many students over the past two years I have been lucky enough to be one of those students. Today I am writing to you to because there is one change I would like you to consider for the school. I think that the astro turf should be free for people to play sport on at lunch.
I do hope you take that into consideration.

Aunt Agony

Dear Aimee

I've got some older friends (I'm 13 they're 14/15) who have invited me to a party on Saturday night at someone's house. I'm pretty sure everyone there will be drinking alcohol before. I've never had alcohol before. I'm going to tell my parents that  I'm staying the night at my friend house. I feel quite nervous, cos I know it's bad. What should I do?

From Anonymous

Dear Anonymous,

Well I guess you need to tell your parents the truth so they know whats going on. They might not let you go to the party but at least they know what your friends are doing. You could make an excuse and not go to the party like oh my family is taking me on a surprise holiday. Something like that and you will be fine other wise if you go to the party you could just not drink or you could pretend your drinking and just tip it behind you.

Advice

Dear Aimee

I found out my two friends smoke. I'm only 13.
I don't know what to do. I am really confused. Please help.

From Anonymous

Dear Anonymous,

I hope your ok you really should tell an adult even if you don't want to loose them as a friend. If an adult finds out they can help them through it. If your confident enough you should have them over sit them down and talk about it with them and ask what you could do to help them out. If all fails you could call 0800 WHATS UP (942 8787) its a helpline for teens and kids and they could give you some good advice best of all its private and its only between you and the helper. You could also go on their website http://www.whatsup.co.nz/. It is definitely a tough situation your in but do not panic.

Cory Monteith dies of over douse

"Glee" star Cory Monteith died of drug over douse earlier this year. The 31-year-old Canadian actor was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on the 13th of July. Cory had checked into the hotel on
6th of July and when he didn't check out on 13th of July as he was supposed to , hotel staff entered his room and found him unresponsive on the floor. Two empty bottles of champagne were also found in the room. The coroner came an inspected the room and found that Cory Monteith had an over douse of a mixture of heroin and alcohol. At the Emmy awards earlier this year he got honored by silence. Cory had been talking a little bit about a addiction but didn't say much all he in 2011 he told Parade Magazine he was "lucky to be alive." Before his death he had an interview and he said "I was using marijuana and drinking by age 13, and his drug use was out of control by the time I was 16, anything and everything, as much as possible," he said, "I had a serious problem."

Teenagers, Drugs and Alcohol

Teenagers, Drugs and Alcohol aren't a great mix I have done some research towards this and I found a website "http://www.dosomething.org/tipsandtools" This website had some startling results they asked some teenagers about drugs at school. They said that more than 60 percent of teens said that drugs were sold, used, or kept at their school. An interesting fact is that young people who drink alcohol are 50 times more likely to use cocaine than teens who never drink. A result that I have also found that I found appalling is that around 28 percent of teens know a friend or classmate who has used ecstasy, with 17 percent knowing more than one user. By the 8th grade, 29.5 percent of adolescents have consumed alcohol, 15.5 percent have smoked cigarettes, and 15 percent have used marijuana.

Kate and Waynes Wedding

A few years ago I went to a wedding in Hamilton. The church was in the country, it was a quite run down church, with cows in the paddock next to it, also there  was a gravel path leading up to the church. We mingeld outside for a little while before we were called into the church. The bagpipes where playing as Kate walked down the isle with my mums auntie Edna. It was quite a short ceremony but long enough. Once it was over pictures and talking was what was happening in between the ceremony and the reception was separated by about an hour. The reception was held at the Hamilton Gardens. It was gorgeous it was a little bit hustle and bustle at the start but then when everyone was sitting we had the speeches and the cake! My job I got given was the cake giver. I gave out the cake.

Argument Dialogue

1. Between a 4 year old and a parent.

"But Mummy I want that one," said the girl with sparkling blue eyes.
"Darling, you dont have enough money for that one," said the parent willingly.
"But, but, but," said the girl as she sat sobbing
"But nothing," said the mother, "money doesn't grow on tree's you know."
'Hmmm,' the little girl thought, "I want that one,"
"Great choice," said the mum, "I quite liked that one myself."

2.Between two insects.

"I am the fastest flyer in the world," said the fly in a spanish accent.
"Whatever," said the dragon fly, "watch how fast I can fly!"
"Wow-e!" Fly said.
"I told you," said the dragonfly.
"I shouldn't second guess myself next time." Said the fly
"Yea, maybe you shouldn't," said the dragonfly

3. Between 2 pieces of rubbish in a bin.

"Ouch!" Said the banana peel as he fell into the bin.
"Not used to this kind of life eh," said the tinfoil

Movie Review

Epic

The movie Epic is based on a scientist who looks for the little people of the forest. His daughter comes and stays he hasn't seen his daughter in 10yrs. She doesn't know the rules that her dads set for her so she goes out by herself without her dad knowing. This is where the Epic adventure starts.

The daughter Mary-Catherine is played by Amanda Seyfried, on the other hand her dad is played by Jason Sudeikis. This is movie is not a sequel.

Personally I think this movie should change its title, because its not the most epic movie I have seen but it is a relatively good movie.

I think that the age that they have aimed this to is probably a seven or eight year old boy who loves action figures and nature. My rating of this movie is a three and a half.

Spring Poem

The sound of spring

The sound of spring goes ding-a-ling-ling,
through the sounds of nature.
You know it is spring when you hear the maa of
the lambs being born.

This is the time of life,
new to the persons eye.
The life of new born animals and
nature.

Viridescent and pink is the colour of spring
its sometimes like the the sun through the clouds
towering down on the fauna thats
just grown up to the trunks of the big kowhai.

A funny story

Kodi and Connor was filming and Connor threw the cookie pad and Kodi dodged it and it went over the fence a while later they weren't going to tell anyone but Travis told Mrs Mills and Mrs Mills said "you have to pay $60 if you dont get it back. When they were looking for it the saw some guys they had a T.I.S uniform on and they where trying to get out of school ran behind a bush so they followed and the guys behind the bush said "if you come any closer or well bash you" they had a scooter then they ran down the back and went to Merrivale then Kodi and Connor told Mr Scholes and Mr Scholes brought them down and as soon as they found them they all had scooters instead of the one Mr Scholes did a ue and Kodi and Connor chased after the kids, the kids where almost cornered but they chucked there scooter into a patch of long grass and jumped over the river and Kodi and Connor found a log and had to walk across the river. It was to late the kids with the scooters turned around and pulled the finger then ran off. Kodi and Connor didn't find the cookie pad in the end but they did find adventure.

Daniel Tammot

Daniel Tammot is a savant that could say 22 thousand numbers of π pi. It took him several weeks to study every individual number. When he went down to Oxford it took him five hours and he didn't make a single mistake. Daniel Tammot can time any number in under 10 seconds. Also he can tell you what day your birthday is going to be on and what day you were born.  Daniel Tammot has an emotional connection with numbers when he thinks of one he thinks of what is would feel like and what it looks like. Another well known savant is George Finn, George Finn was in the movie rain man. Rain man was a movie created on savant people. Rain man could tell the weather of a day anytime in history. A savant is a autistic person that is extremely good at one or two things. There is ruffly 52 savants in the world. Its an extremely rare condition.

Weekend Poem

Happy Days

Happy days,
sunny skies laughter
fills the air.

Kids on playgrounds,
families on bikes
it is the best weekend of the year.

Fun

Weekends are fun when your in the sun.
You could go dive or or go for a ride.
You could hide when people arrive or sit
with a mouse when people are about.
If you are bored you can sit on your bum,
eat lots of ice cream yum yum yum.

Weekend

My weekend was fun we all played in the sun
We face painted the crowd until the rugby started and ended at one.
We sat down and had a yummy feast with heaps of treats that you could eat.
Some kids from Opotiki came and meet us we took them to the swing,
that wasn't scary that much.
We ended the day with lemonade ice cream with raspberry it was delicious, I'd say.

Flynn- when he tells me to use my inside voice.

Messiness- At my friends partys I tidy up the room.

Standing on a lego piece- It really hurts.

When my mum tells me to do jobs and my sister doesn't have to.

When people waste money- I get really annoyed when people spend money when they dont need to.
Like someone

I get annoyed when my food comes out two hours later.
When I went to a restaurant (the Lone Star) for my sisters birthday my meal came out 2 hours later. We we ordered some food and they came out with my dish 2 hours later and it was the wrong dish they said they sent a waiter out to let me know but the didn't then they said if I want a burger that would mean I have to wait 25 minutes. I got furious they said w can give you some complimentary drinks but I had been drinking for that whole time while I was waiting then they came out and gave me a bowl of fries. Mean while my mum convinced them to give the rest of the kids free meals. When we left I went to Mc'Ds to get a burger.

We should read more books'

We should read more books'

For

  • You'll become a better writer. Using words other authors have used lets you know that they are good words.
  • You will be more creative. A book gives you ideas to write your own story.
  • They are a great time filler, sometime's you get lost in the book and completely forget you were bored.

Against

  • People would rather like sport than read a book.
  • Some people find it hard to read a book because some of the words are really small.
  • Most people cant find the right book to read.

                         Against

  • Its not practical you could do something much better than it like go outside.
  • You gain weight from sitting down all day, also from not being physical.

The best day in the holidays for me was....................

On the 20th of July, mum, my sister (Haylee), my auntie (Justine), my cousin (Renee) and I went shopping in Bay Fair. The shops we looked in were Pumpkin Patch, Glassons and Farmers. I didn't get anything at Pumpkin Patch but I did at Glasson's and Farmers. At Glassons I got a emerald green t-shirt and some jeans with spots all over them (they're really cool). At Farmers I got a blue lace dress with a hole in the shape of a love heart at the back. We spent six hours shopping in total. For lunch we went to Subway and KiwiYo. At Subway I got a ham cheese lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich with a drink. At KiwiYo I got candy floss and chocolate flavored frozen yoghurt and I topped it off with lots of lollies! When we got back we put on a fashion show for my dad we were posing and laughing. Mum and Dad went to a wedding so when we dropped them off my auntie decided to take us to the Mt Maunganui Salt Water Hot Pools. We spent an hour there because after a while we got bored so we went and got dessert at KFC I got the new gooey chocolate pudding and my auntie got a hershey pie. My sister didn't want anything so we had to go to Mc'Donalds to get an apple pie. We got a
Buzz game as well when we got back my auntie, my sister, my cousin and I ate our desserts then we played Buzz my auntie got out some M&Ms half way through the game and started throwing them at us it was hard to concentrate when you got and M&M thrown down the back of your shirt. We had a blast the only rule we had was we had to be in bed before my parents where home (3:00am).

Term 2 Overview

The first day of Term 2 Rm 41 & 42 went up to Ngawhaine camp. We had cross country on the 8th week of term. Science fair had been going on all term so we had that. We also had production last week. My highlight for this term was probably camp. It was my highlight because of the high ropes even though they are hard I got to the top of the ropes. My lowlight was Science fair it was very challenging and hard. My topic was what temperature makes a glow stick last the longest. This term I have improved at my statistics. We have done a lot of this unit and it had been good but next term I would like to focus on my iKan maths (fractions, decimals, times tables etc.) because I still need to improve on this.

The Production

Friday 5th July 2013

For the past two weeks we have been up in the hall practicing and practicing at Bay court and trying hard to present to the public A Most Triumphant Tale preformed at bay court. This story is based on two characters Phil & Ed who's band members have abandoned them because the lead singer is auditioning for the voice. Phil & Ed are stuck so they decide to audition the whole town. They dont have much luck so a man from the year 2030 called Starman comes and helps them. Starman is a space character with a time traveler express. Together, Phil & Ed go on an adventure to re-write music history along the way they make a few acidental stops to a most triumphant ballet. They stop off at Woodstock and pick up Jimmy Hendrics.  They also stop off and pick up Mozart. Sadly they didn't have enough time to stop for a singer but luckily their singer comes back and joins the band and they beat their rivals One Dimension.

I am an auditionee for the voice and I am also part of the choir.

A Game that I have played

21-6-13
Haunt the House

Last year I discovered this game called Haunt the House. The object of the game is you have to  scare everyone out of the house. You have to be a object to be able to scare. Each objects have different actions. Along the game the more you scare the more options of scares you have. Sometimes you scare them so much they die. Its set in an old cottage in the middle of the creepy woods. Everyones their for a party. Its quite strange but it is a good game it is not to bad to play it is the only game I play on my computer at the moment. The difficulty is easy but it gets harder to scare them along the way.

My Mums Job

20-6-13
My Mums Job

My Mum works for a company called ISM. ISM is a gluten free company that stocks the shelves of Mrs Rodgers and used to be Wild Appetite. At the start of her job we got five massive boxes of rice, cupcake cases, rice crackers, gourmet sauces and herbs/spices. I really like it because we get free food. Mum goes around to all the supermarkets in Tauranga and every fortnight she goes to Whakatane and fills the shelves there. She has done really well and gotten heaps of new items on the shelves.  Im proud of my Mum because she has done really well and she is friendly to all her buyers.

An Argument With My Sister

19-6-13

An Argument With My Sister

"Can I use your pencils," Haylee asked in a sweet voice.
"No," I said "you have your own now go away."
Haylee grabs the pencils and runs out of my room.
"HAYLEE!!!" I yell as loud as I can, "give me back my pencils."
It was too late. Dad walks in.
"Whats going on?" He said
"Haylee stole my pencils," I said, "and she has her own she can use"
"But mine aren't as good as yours," said Haylee
I said "They're the exact same."
I stomped into my sisters room grabbed her pencil case tipped it out. I was picking all the same pencils as mine out and put them beside me. Haylee walked in,
"YOU MESSED UP MY ROOM!" she yelled with tears running down her face.
"It was already a mess," I said in a snappy attitude.
Dad came in.
I gave him her pencils and said "These are the exact same as mine."
He gave me mine and gave her, hers and thats that.

Free Writing

I will

Anytime and anywhere I will always be there.
If it rains or if it snows.
I will helps you be afloat
If the seas are really ruff,
and you need to catch a bus
I will pay your fee for you
even if you have the flu.
Many days pass on by
and you need to buy some kai.
Ill give you a hand and buy you a rubber band.
If you catch a butterfly
surely you will be alright.
Anytime and anywhere I will always be there

Where it was from
The phrase 'Excuse my French' in English may come from a time of great rivalry between France and England, during the 100 Years War, when many things innappropriate or indecent were associated with the French.

Charging Laptops At School.

What are the negatives of Rimu students charging their laptops at school?
  • Its costing the school to much so we cant get things like Gyms, Discos etc.
  • You could trip over everyones cords that are all over the floor.
  • We could buy better recourses instead
What are two of the suggestions for solving the problem?
  • Use your red-bulls as tickets for chances to use your charger.
  • Have a station with 3 chargers and you have to take turns.
What is your opinion about Rimu students charging their laptops at school?
My opinion is that some people need to take responsibility at home for charging their laptops. They should have a stickie on their laptops saying they need to charge their laptop. That could work but they need to take responsibility.

Homework Challenge

Task: P5. Compete in a sport for an entire season

Volleyball

In Term 1 & the start of Term 2 I decided to do Volleyball for the season. I enjoy Volleyball because its not a hard sport and it doesn't require a high level of fitness. Its really easy to play and you don't need allot of people. Theirs 4 in one team in my team there was Jessica, Nicole, Kate, Renee and I. I decided our group name we  were called the T.I.S teddy bears. I chose that name because it rhymes and it was cute. If you have more than 5 (like our team) you rotate in a clockwise rotation on and off the court. The person in the top corner would

We didn't do very well because we were there to have a good time. There were allot of jokes on and off court. We lost all of our games except the very last one. The last few we were determined to win. We were cheering each other on giving tips to one an other. At home in our spare time we would practice as much as we could. Even though we didn't win every game we had an awesome time playing Volleyball.

Daily Blog Post

On Saturday morning I woke up extraordinarily excited because we were going to do the 40 Hour Famine (no technology) at Kate's house. After I woke up I got dressed and happily went and made vanilla cupcakes. I felt almost professional until mum came in and started criticizing me. I was irritated "what did you do with it, why does it have lumps in it, did you mix it properly" said mum. I put them in the oven and they looked  exquisite. I had just finished and Paris knocked at the door to pick me up I snatched my bags and away we went I was so excited. We raced out the door, when we were driving up Kate's driveway and I saw horses tied to the quad-bike. I started telling Paris their names. I was worried that I wasn't going to remember how to ride a horse. When we got out of the car I was still nervous but Kate's mum Sophie helped me and guided me and I was fine.

Homework Challenge

Homework Challenge

G1. Give to children in need: Participate in the 20 Hour famine.
Raise a  minimum of $40.00

40 Hour Famine.

On Friday we organised to go to Kate's house to do the 40 Hour Famine No Technology. We decided only to do twenty hours other wise we would have to stay two nights. The 40 Hour Famine is a Famine for children in need. This year the funds went to Papua New Guinea just off the top of Australia. Anyway, I woke up on Saturday morning very excited I got ready packed my bags had breakfast. Then mum reminded me to bring something to Kate's. So I decided to make vanilla cupcakes that we could ice for something to do it was quite a challenge and mum and I thought they wouldn't come out very good but they looked and smelt perfect. Paris and I organised for her to pick me up at twelve o'clock. I just finishes putting the cupcakes on a plate and their was a knock at the door. It was Paris so off we went up the road to Kate's house.

When we pulled in the drive Kate's horses were all tied to their quad. There was Sammy, Breeze and Fox. We got our stuff out of the car and put it in her living room where we were going to sleep that night. At that moment I forgot that I was supposed to bring mattresses also I forgot my sleeping bag so I wasn't quite sure what was going to happen until Kate said just use a recliner so we dragged a recliner out from the living room and I had to borrow Kates blanket but we were warm anyway. After that we went back outside and patted the horses. Then Kate's mum said for us to go inside and cook American hotdogs for lunch. I was in charge of cooking them and I could only see the top ones they looked perfect but when we took the rest out they had completely split in half so I was disappointed in myself but they were fine.

After we had lunch we went outside and put riding shoes on then we saddled the horses up. I rode Fox down to the arena she was being really naughty all the way down. We got to the bottom and we walked our horses around the arena. Paris was running around with Billy and I was walking Fox and she was being a real hassle and hard to handle so I swapped for Kate's horse Sammy. For the rest of the afternoon we jumped jumps Paris fell of Breeze when he broke into a canter. We trotted here and there but we got bored and decided to go back to the house I went on the back of the quad-bike while the others rode. Once we got back we brushed and covered the horses ready for the night. After that we put them back in their paddocks feed them and gave them water. Meanwhile Gizmo Kate's dog was trying to eat the horse poo so Paris and I were guarding it. It was really funny. Just as we were finishing up it started to rain. We were just in the nick of time. As soon as we got inside it absolutely pored down. So we sat inside we played The Game of Life. I came last then we had pizza for tea.

After tea we made instant pudding iced the cupcakes and talked. All night we talked Kate's mum told us to shut up a few times then she came out and we decided to go to bed all night we slept off and on there was snoring, sleep-talking, sleep stretching all sorts. We woke up in the morning and played The Game of Life again I came second that time so I was pretty proud of myself. As soon as the twenty hours were up we turned on the TV we watched Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory. That finished and we heard my mum and dad coming up the driveway. They decided to stay for a coffee so we took heaps of pictures of ourself's. Once we finished that we were on our way home after having so much fun doing the 40 (20) Hour Famine.
