My New Budgie
About a month ago I had a pet budgie named Miley. Miley was a humble budgie sitting on her swing all the time, talking to her sister but the other day it was a normal day I was going to my friends birthday for a sleepover we had a blast anyway, when I came home mum and dad had to share some news. Miley had died I was so upset. We had her in a plastic bag in the laundry for a few days. Later on that weekend Anna came over and we went to Mitre Ten Mega and got some daffodil bulbs and had a burial.
A few days passed I googled what gender of budgie should I put in with a three year old budgie. It came up with male because if you but a female with another female in the cage they would just fight. So we looked online to see where in Tauranga would they sell three year old budgies.
Well I was on trade me and I found a guy named Grant in Gloucester Road just near Bay Fair who sells budgies. So mum drove me over to find a budgie, he had a whole variety blue ones, green ones, yellow ones budgies galore everywhere I looked and looked till I found one he was perfect he had gray wings with a blue chest and beady eyes.
We payed our money and took him home. We were all sitting in the car in silence thinking of a name for him. Nothing we went home and google searched heaps all of the budgie named we could ever think of a few names were suggested but none that I liked. I thought for a bit then I thought of the name Cloud. It was perfect he looked exactly like one. We introduced Cloud to his new sister. He wasn't used to a small cadge at first but hes gotten used to it.
Keep posted for some more information on how cloud is coping.
