The Quagga Extinction

Quagga Photo
The Quagga is a southern sub species of the Plains Zebra. Its different to your normal Zebra they had stripes from their forehead to their neck. Their lower half is a browny beige color and they have white legs. The Quagga became extinct because it was ruthlessly hunted down for its meat and to be made into leather by South African farmers. The last Quagga died on 12th of August 1883 in the Amsterdam Zoo.
